Winter air ritual

Winter air ritual: A time to gather up
Ruling element: Air
Sentiment: movement & thought

On these dark winter nights, we take our cues from nature and retreat inside to find our own inner light. The long nights give us time to gather our thoughts; to think about what works, what doesn’t and what we must banish in order to grow.

Begin the ritual by gathering cutouts, cards, postcards or words and sentences from books or magazines that you are drawn too. Think about pattern, colours and textures - they all have a place here. Take your time with this process; allow yourself to think about any changes you would like to make.

Start creating a moodboard with everything you have collected by sticking them onto a pin board or large piece of paper. Remember that Winter calls us to banish the things that no longer serve us, ridding us of old habits and old addictions, making way for the new when the Spring arrives.

Your rumination will spark the calling up of energy and magic needed to create new happenings.

Nice.

A LITTLE BIT OF MAGIC

"I light the Wellbeing Crystal Candle every time I have one of those exhausted end-of-day baths, and the gentle scent immediately makes me feel relaxed. Fifteen minutes later I'm all recalibrated and centred."
