The wild one who once danced barefoot on frostbitten soil, who spoke in smoke, in silence, in song.

She dwells in the hedgerows.
She howls through the bones of winter.
She tends the earth with her blood and kind words.

She is the heartbeat of the feathered and furred,
the dreamer, the weaver of the unseen and unbound.
She is the rhythm of drumbeat, spindle, loom.
Of breath, of bone, of becoming.

She is the crone’s steady gaze beside the fire, the smoke rising from the cauldron of your own remembering.

The cloak woven by your mother’s hands - and hers before her.
The ache between your ribs that says: there is more.

She walks the old pathways  - of moss, stone, stick and bone; of womb, word, salt and flame.
She gathers the red - from menarche to pause and wraps it around you like a blessing.

She does not rush.
She waits.
Not for your readiness, but for your remembrance.

No map. No promise.
Just the hush of something sacred stirring.
Just the knowing that winter is not the end… it is the door.

She is calling.

Not to fix you.
Not to teach you.
But to call you home… to your bones, your blood.
To the wild breath beneath your breath.
To the truth that has always lived inside you.

WHAT IS BLOOD + BONE? 

Blood + Bone is a six-month journey of deep remembrance and reclamation - an intimate circle held for just seven women each year. This is not a course, but a sacred unfolding that invites you to reconnect with the ancient wisdom of your blood, your bones, and the rhythms of the earth. It is a living prayer, a return to the wild, a powerful reclamation of all that has been lost, forgotten, or silenced.

This journey is an invitation to step fully into your own power, to listen to the teachings of the land, and to embody the seasons and cycles that run through you. You are called to weave your story, your soul and your energy back into the fabric of the earth.

As you walk this path, you will...

→ Reclaim your inner wisdom by reconnecting with the sacred bloodlines and ancestral bones within you, remembering the cycles of your body and soul that guide you back to your true wild essence.

This is not a journey of self-improvement. It is a journey of remembrance - a slow, sacred returning to the woman you’ve always been.

Through Blood + Bone, you will be held inside a living rhythm - one that honours the land, the lineage, the body and the unseen threads that bind them all. We will move through a season of deep rest, ritual, creativity, and ancestral connection -  together.

This is a space where you’ll feel met, not fixed. Where you’ll be guided, not told. Where your path will unfold not through striving, but through softening, shedding and listening to what wants to be remembered.

Here’s what you’ll receive and how it may transform you:

→ During our monthly online gatherings, you’ll explore themes of self-discovery, nature-based spirituality, and feminine archetypes - grounding into your own inner truth, and deepening your connection to self, source, and sisterhood.

→ At our in-person retreats, you’ll drop deeply into your heart, rest in our beautiful home and create sacred tools with your own hands - weaving meaning into every thread and reclaiming ritual as a living practice.

→ In our WhatsApp group, you’ll be lovingly held in a private circle of women walking this path beside you - a space to be witnessed, celebrated and supported through each layer of the journey.

→ You’ll learn the sacred crafts of natural dyeing, spinning, and weaving - working with madder root and Dartmoor fleece to spin your own red thread, then weaving it into a ceremonial womb wrap with Rosemary Riedel O'Brien, a ceremonial weaver and spinner. This wrap becomes a cocooning cloth for your womb space - a reverent offering to the feminine mysteries and to yourself.

→ You’ll connect with The Red Thread -  the symbolic lifeline that binds all women across time. This thread becomes a living reminder of your place within the web of life, helping you honour your own womb, blood journey and connection to the collective feminine experience.

→ You’ll begin to carry sacred songs - sounds woven for ceremony, prayer, and healing. This practice opens you as a vessel for the divine feminine, and for the Earth herself to speak through you.

→ You’ll deepen into your own responsibility as a wild woman of the Earth - growing your confidence in your womanhood, honouring your roots and kindling the fire to inspire change in your own life and community.

→ You’ll journey with the Earth’s tides between the Autumn Equinox and the Spring Equinox - aligning with the great turning of the wheel. Winter will no longer be something to endure, but a potent time to receive, reflect and re-root what wants to grow through you.

And perhaps most of all…

You’ll leave with a felt knowing of your own medicine. A stronger root of self-trust. A deeper relationship with your womb and the land. Sacred artefacts made by your hands.

And a reverence for your path - as it is, not as it “should” be.

Where will we sleep?

There are six beautiful bedrooms, each named after the paint or fabrics the designer has used within them. All of the beds are covered with super-soft bedding, sumptuous throws and cushions to ensure a blissful nights’ sleep. All rooms are solo occupancy, three are ensuite.

Anthos This room is on the top floor at the cottage end with a super king bed with padded headboards in Sanderson Anthos fabric. This room has lovely views over the garden. Solo occupancy & shared bathroom. 

Orton This room is on the lower ground floor at the cottage end. Handmade super king bed with padded headboard Romo Orton. Gorgeous French windows that lead out on to the garden and its own private terrace. Ensuite shower room and access to an outdoor shower. Solo occupancy & ensuite.

Brassica This room is on the top floor at the Bothy end of the house and has a king sized, handmade bed with padded headboard in Andrew Martin linen. With delightful views over the courtyard garden. Solo occupancy & shared bathroom.

Oasis This room lies on the ground floor at the Bothy end of the house and has a king sized bed with padded headboard in Lewis and Wood Boukhara fabric. With views on to the courtyard gardens plus a walk-in double shower with double basins. Solo occupancy & ensuite. 

Agate is a sweet twin bedroom with beautiful handmade beds and padded headboard. The lamps are made with beautiful Agate crystals. Shared occupancy. Shared bathroom with Anthos.

Calluna is on the top floor and is a super lovely twin room. The twin beds are handmade with padded headboards in Lewis and Wood Etienne. Shared bathroom (with Brassica). Double occupancy.
