The Hawthorn Two Day Retreat

A deep, spacious return to self

Step into a container of time held entirely for you. Two days to exhale, to descend, to stretch your soul across the quiet spaces that call you home. This is a journey that moves from the intimate warmth of hearth and home to the untamed pulse of the wild... a pilgrimage that honours both stillness and sovereignty, reflection and emergence.

These days are a gift to your body, your blood, your bones and your remembering... a chance to soften, reclaim and awaken the threads of your wild, wise self.

THE INVITATION

This is for the woman who needs time to exhale. The woman who needs space to breathe. The woman who needs to feel herself again. The woman who needs to let her soul stretch across time. To be met not in her roles or responsibilities, but in her heart.

These are two days devoted entirely to you. Not to who the world has asked you to be... but to the ancient, wild self beneath it all. The one who has walked through the fires. The one who has always known. The one who is ready to return.

This is not a getaway. This is a pilgrimage home. To your breath, your blood, your bones. To your knowing. To your beautiful full essence.

Day One is held within the sacred walls of my home... a place woven with song, shadow and spells.

Day Two takes us to the Witches Circle... a place of power, protection and presence.

Together, we’ll tend the threads of your becoming. We’ll soften the armour. Call back your magick. And walk, side by side, as the old songs stir again within you.

WHAT HAPPENS

Day One: The descent
We begin in the held-ness of my home, where everything is prepared with loving intention. Herbs are gathered from garden, the altar space built with earth from my garden. The oracle cards waiting. Cacao warming on the stove.

We sit together on pelts by the hearth, letting the threads of the day begin to weave. We open the space with cacao. With breath. With presence.

You are invited to speak, or not. To let whatever’s rising arrive without judgement or rush.
And then the soul tending begins.

You’ll lie down by the fire and I’ll begin at your crown. My hands in your hair. My breath in rhythm with yours. I’ll listen to what your soul wants to say. To what the earth wants you to remember. I’ll work slowly down your body, drawing energy up from beneath the floor, from the bones of this land, from the bloodlines that live within. I’ll whisper in old tongues. I’ll sit at your feet and place them on my womb, letting the pulse of something older rise through both of us.

You may receive visions. Symbols. Words. Or simply a feeling... of being held in a way that can’t quite be named.

Afterwards, we’ll speak, if you wish. Share what’s been felt. We’ll eat dark chocolate, drink tea and nourish ourselves with a seasonal lunch.

In the afternoon, we will work with our hands. We will create spell jars, talismans, pentacles or wild bundles of herbs. Whatever wants to be woven into your journey will be there, ready. I have everything to hand... I am a witch, after all!

You’ll rest. Journal. Sit in the garden. Let it all land.

You’ll be given a small gift... something from the land, from me, from the day. Something to hold the thread.

Day two: The emergence
On day two, we take to the land. We walk to The Witches Circle... a sacred site near my home. A place of power. A place of deep listening. A liminal place. A wild place. A circle of trees and stones, long used for gathering, ritual and power.

We walk the land. Drum. Breathe. We sit under the trees and listen to the crows, to the wind, to your soul. We may sit in silence. We may speak to the earth. You may be invited into simple ritual, breathwork or ancestral connection practices. You may cry. You may laugh. You may lie face-down on the moss.

This is about what the land wants to give you. What you are ready to receive.

WHAT YOU MIGHT FEEL

This is not about fixing, it’s about remembering. Not about striving, but softening. Returning to the rhythm that has always been yours.

This is a space where many women say they feel...

"Reconnected to my truth and my wildness"
"A moment of being held, safe, accepted and deeply loved"
"It opened my heart, my voice and my inner power"
"I felt touched by something ancient and sacred"
"I also carry with me a new confidence and excitement to continue in ritual, to explore more deeply what it means to live through wild womanhood, and to keep learning how to weave that wildness into the fabric of daily life"

You may also feel:
Tired, emotional, or released... all of it is welcome here
A deeper sense of recalibration, restoration and inner alignment

Two days allow space to arrive fully, trust what is arising and move through a gentle, yet potent, unfolding of your body, mind and soul.

THE LOCATION

Hawthorn Cottage, West Dorset. A cosy, colourful cottage nestled on the edge of a village and the home of my own deep becoming.

The walls have been sung to. Songs of love and protection. Songs of joy and return. The garden has been nourished with my own monthly bleed. The earth knows what to do with it. This land holds me. And it will hold you.

From the garden, you can see The Witches’ Circle, a quiet, ancient place etched into the land. A place of gathering, remembering and deep magick.

Hawthorn Cottage sits on the edge of Beaminster, a small town in West Dorset, around 3 hours’ drive from London. The nearest train station is Crewkerne, a 14-minute taxi ride away - though taxis must be booked in advance, as it’s a small train station.

If you're travelling from afar, there are plenty of Airbnbs, shepherd’s huts, and cosy yurts nearby to turn your journey into a deeper retreat.

There’s a powerful black cat who keeps quiet watch over this land. And a super friendly, hypoallergenic dog, who will likely greet you at the gate.

The hearth is warm, the kettle is on and the wild awaits. And one of my signature Katy hugs!

ABOUT KATY

I am Katy. A soul tender. A wayfinder. A weaver of what’s ancient, sacred and true.

I work with thresholds... the spaces between what is falling away and what is ready to rise. My medicine is born of the land, the bones, the cauldron and the hearth. It’s rooted in witch blood and remembering and shaped by years of walking beside women as they soften, unravel and return to the wildness of their own knowing.

I do not promise transformation... I hold space for it.

Through ritual, through touch, through story and silence, I guide women back to their bodies, their truth and the power that lives in their blood and bone.

My own path has been mossy, messy and magnificent. I’ve walked through fire, grief, thresholds of birth and death. I’ve known the ache of not-enoughness and the beauty of becoming. And through it all, I have learned that tenderness is strength and wild truth is holy.

This is the medicine I bring. Ancient, rooted, real.

If you choose to step into any of The Owlumni offerings, you will be held in this way: with a fierce softness, with a listening heart, with earth and ritual and wild woman magick.

And if you are a little unsure what the option is for you, simply email me and together we can work out the best pathway for you.

I am so looking forward to walking beside you this year.

A LITTLE LOVE FROM WOMEN

"Working with Katy I unlocked parts of myself I didn't know were there. It opened my heart, my voice and my inner power. It helped me face challenges in a different way. I felt charged, strong and brave. I now have access to tools that help and support me daily. How I approach life is forever changed, I am awakened, and I could not have been without Katy's guidance, support and knowledge." Kate
"Katy feels to me like a true mentor, all at once motherly, sisterly, friendly, and wise, but always fresh, light, and walking her own unfolding path. She guides not by instruction, but by gently returning your hand to your own rudder, reminding you that you are allowed to steer, allowed to be as you are.

I left with a clearer sense of myself, able to make decisions (even on the minute scale) with more certainty. I also carry with me a new confidence and excitement to continue in ritual, to explore more deeply what it means to live through wild womanhood, and to keep learning how to weave that wildness into the fabric of daily life.

I know this is only the beginning, the opening of a chapter that may span years as I gather my force and turn it to good in my own life and for others. Katy is a nurturing catalyst, and I recommend her with all my heart to anyone needing time, space, and a safe place to remember themselves. She will help you step into the landscape of your own being, until it feels wholly like home”. Katy

A LITTLE BIT OF MAGIC

"I light the Wellbeing Crystal Candle every time I have one of those exhausted end-of-day baths, and the gentle scent immediately makes me feel relaxed. Fifteen minutes later I'm all recalibrated and centred."
